Before starting out, please do read the information we have provided below on how your personal data will be processed.
Article 13 of Law 196 issued on June 30th 2003 (consisting of the "Law relating to the processing of personal information"), requires us to inform you that your personal information will be processed so that we will be able to send out materials informing you about the products and services supplied, so that you will be able to download technical material and information by computer via the area with reserved access, and so that we can offer you information promoting and advertising our products and services, which may also make use of e-mail.
Your data will be processed according to the law either manually or by means of electronic systems and any other devices offered by modern technology in general. Your data will be handled correctly and with due confidentiality.
Computerised procedures may also be employed for data processing using methods and within the essential limits for accomplishing said purpose.
Third parties may be party to your data; these include group companies or individuals in charge of sending out notifications using computerised methods or other solutions.
Employees of the processing controller, or persons assisting him or her, may be party to your personal data as a result of their job as supervisor or person in charge of processing.
You provide your data on a voluntary basis, however we will not be able to offer you access to reserved areas or keep you updated about any schemes or proposals put forward by the processing controller should you decide not to supply it.
Meta System S.p.A., based at via Majakovskij 10 b/c/d/e, Reggio Emilia, is the controller of processing.
Your rights, as the interested party, are protected by article 7 of the above-mentioned Privacy Law and we are illustrating these below for your information:
Art.7 - Right of access to personal data and other rights
1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of any personal information concerning him or her, even if this has not been recorded yet, and to receive notification in an intelligible format.
2. The interested party has the right to obtain information relating to:
a) the origin of his or her personal data;
b) the reason for processing and the method used;
c) the logic applied should processing be done with the aid of electronic devices;
d) the particulars of the data controller, as well as of any supervisors or representative, if designated, pursuant to art. 5, comma 2;
e) the individuals, or categories of individuals, who may be party to personal data or who may be privy to the same on account of their role as the designated representative for the national territory, or as the person in charge.
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, rectification and integration of his or her data, should it be in his or her interests;
b) the deletion, the transformation into an anonymous format or the blocking of any data processed in violation of the law, including data whose storage is not required for the reasons it was collected for or subsequently processed.
c) certification that any individuals who were party or privy to data have been informed of any actions according to a) and b), also as regards its contents, except for circumstances where it is impossible to fulfil such obligation or where the means required would be manifestly out of proportion compared to the right being protected.
4. The interested party has the right to wholly or partially oppose:
a) the processing of his or her personal data for legitimate reasons, even if it is pertinent to the reason for its collection;
b) the processing of his or her personal data for the sending of materials for advertising or for direct sales or for market research or for commercial information.
